All project funds have been expended. The remainder of improvements will be completed by the City and Developer.The City has finalized contract negotiations with a new developer for the overall Keystone Corridor site.
A new Lowe’s Home Improvement store was announced as the primary anchor tenant for the River City Crossing Development. Sand Springs continues to market the property at the northeast corner of Hwy 97 and Morrow Road for retail development.
Vision 2025 partially funded ($3.5 million) the Early Childhood Center (ECC) in Sand Springs. The Sand Springs School on the corner of Highway 97 and Morrow Road was part of the Vision 2025 Keystone Corridor project. Vision funding purchased the old school in December 2007, which enabled the School District to use those funds toward the partial purchase of the new facility at 701 East Park Road, Sand Springs.
